Megan grew up on the Eastern Shore taking ballet, tap, and jazz classes at various dance schools in the area; however, after college she found she was living a pretty sedentary lifestyle. That was until she found the studio in December of 2008. She immediately fell in love with dancing all over again and loved the workout the classes provided. She was amazed at how sore she was after one class and couldn’t wait to see and feel more results. With the structure of the pole classes, she was able to build up her cardio while toning muscles she never knew she had. Megan is a PoleMoves Beginner/Intermediate Certified Instructor and is CPR/AED certified and has been teaching since 2011. Megan hopes you become as addicted to this style of fitness as she is!

Daina is an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Health Coach, as well as a Precision Nutrition Level 2 Sports and Exercise Nutritionist, a 200-Hour PoleMoves instructor and a certified FlyGym Aerial Fitness Trainer, and DNCE Fit Instructor. She is CPR/AED certified and is also a member of the Pole Dance Community/USA and Pole Fitness Association. Daina grew up studying ballet, jazz and modern dance, and taught at a private studio in her home state of New Jersey for several years. As a member of her high school dance team, Daina continued to study the art of dance and movement throughout her college years and beyond. After relocating to the Eastern Shore, Daina discovered the studio and immediately registered for class and has been with the studio ever since. She has trained with many leaders in the pole fitness industry and  is passionate about sharing this and many other styles of dance to women of all ages, shapes and sizes.

Angela, the studio owner,  is a wife, mother of two, an Ocean City native, and a Salisbury University alumni (BS Nursing/Respiratory Therapy).  Although she has always been into fitness, it was after having her kids that she discovered and fell in love with pole & aerial fitness and the incredible mind and body benefits. In 2007, she opened the studio, and teaches beginner through advanced pole & aerial fitness and dance classes, POUND Rockout Workout, PiYo LIVE, and offers instructor training. Angela has a great understanding of technique and body positioning, and provides a safe and encouraging class environment for all. She is passionate about the benefits of this unique type of fitness, and believes in the pure power of the classes she teaches. Angela loves working with other women, watching them build strength, gain confidence, and feel beautiful!

Angela is a Certified ACE Group Fitness Instructor, a Beginner-Advanced Certified Teacher, Elite Instructor, and Master Trainer for PoleMoves/Pole Fitness Alliance, a FlyGym Aerial Fitness Trainer, YogaFit Certified, POUND Pro Instructor, PiYo LIVE Instructor, and CPR/AED certified. She continues to further her education and skills by attending workshops, conventions, and trainings with leaders in the industry.

The Pure Power Studio in Ocean City, MD is proud to have introduced pole & aerial fitness to the Eastern Shore! It is an incredible mind and body workout that will make you feel so powerful in both mind and body. Average, everyday women of all professions, ages, sizes and fitness levels have fallen in love with our unique and alternative approach to fitness. We are a small, private, women only fitness studio. We are the only pole & aerial studio on the Eastern Shore, and offer small group classes (only 6-8 per class) in pole, aerial, barre, POUND, plus,  private group lessons & parties, instructor training, specialty workshops, and more! We have nine poles, 7 Fly Gyms, 5 Pole Aria/Silks, Lyra, Silks, barre, and a gymnastics stall bar for training.

The studio opened in December of 2007, and has been empowering women on the Eastern Shore ever since. Vacationers, visitors, and locals love our studio.

Jennie has been interested in fitness her entire adult life. Whether taking classes or teaching classes, she enjoys workouts that use your own body weight and likes to add light weights or resistance bands. Jennie is married with one son, 3 dogs, goats and peacocks. She loves her animals as much as her family! When not teaching or training, you can find Jennie outdoors, either fishing, hunting, or just relaxing on the beach. She is certified in CPR,  ASFA Group Fitness, Boot camp, Personal Training, Core Works - Mat 1 Movement and Principles Pilates, Barre,  and TRX.

Sandra stepped a heel into the studio for the first time in 2009 and quickly knew that she wanted to be an instructor. After just a few classes, her goal was to share this exhilarating workout that left her feeling strong and sexy with other women too. She has been an instructor since then and teaches pole fitness and specialty classes like Pole/Chair, Body by Pole and more. She is a PoleMoves Certified Instructor, ACE Group Fitness Certified Instructor, CPR/AED certified,  Bootcamp and L1 Crossfit Certified, and has attended workshops/trained with many well known instructors in the fitness and pole community.
